What to include in your quote request
The clearest quote requests save time and help us price the job properly the first time. Whether you need a new boiler package, a calorifier repair, inline heater replacement or incinerator servicing, send the key plant details, site conditions and the outcome you need.
Please include your site location, the equipment type, capacity, fuel or power source, and whether the work is for a planned shutdown, emergency callout or longer term refurbishment. If your plant has been tripping during load-shedding, showing pressure loss, poor combustion, scale build-up or uneven heating, mention that too so we can prepare the right technician and spares.
- Equipment type and approximate size or rating
- Site location and access details
- Fault description or scope of work
- Photos, nameplates and existing pipework layout if available
- Required timing, especially for shutdown windows
How the pricing process works
We keep the process straightforward. Once we receive your enquiry, our team reviews the information and may ask for drawings, photos, operating temperatures, water treatment history or previous service notes. For larger plant, we may arrange a site visit in Boksburg, Kempton Park, Germiston, Pretoria, Midrand or Sandton, or send a team to other parts of South Africa if the job needs it.
After that, we prepare pricing for supply, manufacture, retrofit or replacement. If the job involves boilers, calorifiers, inline heaters or incinerators, we will also check the practical items that affect cost, such as civil access, lifting space, electrical supply, flue condition, refractory condition and any compliance work required by the site or municipality.
- Initial review of your request
- Clarification call or site inspection if needed
- Written quotation with scope and exclusions
- Scheduling once the order or instruction is confirmed
When you need urgent support
If a boiler has stopped producing steam, a calorifier is dropping temperature, or an inline heater is affecting production, send the request as an emergency callout. South African plants often cannot wait for a standard turnaround, especially in winter or when backup capacity is limited. We can prioritise service where there is a shutdown risk, hygiene issue or production loss.
For urgent work, add the best contact number, the problem start time, and whether the plant is safe to isolate before arrival. If you have a site permit process, security gate procedure or after-hours access rule, include that as well. This helps us get the right technician to site without delay.
- Emergency callouts for failed heating plant
- Combustion tuning after poor fuel performance
- Refractory relining and hot face repairs
- Water treatment support where scaling is causing trouble
Supply, manufacture and retrofit options
Ai-TEC has supported commercial and industrial heating systems since 2009, with work across Gauteng and national service support. If you are replacing old equipment, we can quote for a like-for-like unit or a revised setup that suits your current duty, footprint and operating cost target. On older plant, a retrofit can often be more practical than a full replacement, especially when space is tight or the rest of the system is still serviceable.
We also assist with plant refurbishment where the boiler house, calorifier line or incinerator needs mechanical attention, better controls or improved efficiency. For coastal or humid areas, we can factor in corrosion risk and maintenance intervals. For sites with frequent power interruptions, we can discuss restart procedures and the limits of your existing backup systems.
Send your quote request to the Jet Park team
Our base is in Jet Park, Boksburg, and our service teams work from Gauteng into other provinces as needed. You can send your project details to engineering@ai-tec.co.za and include any drawings, photos or past service records you have on hand. If you are comparing options across several sites, mention each location separately so we can quote the work accurately.
The more practical detail you give, the better the pricing will match your actual job. That includes the type of process, hours of operation, access limits and whether the plant must stay live while work is carried out. We will then respond with a clear scope and the next step, so you know what is included before anything goes ahead.
